D.J. Caruso and Carl Ellsworth (“Disturbia”) are re-teaming for another comic book adaption…this one is the critically acclaimed Vertigo comic, “Y: The Last Man”, according to trade reports.

Y is the story of a man named Yorick, who is the sole surviving male human, and one of two surviving male mammals on earth (the other being his monkey sidekick). Everyone else apparently died of a mysterious plague.

Caruso will direct, Ellsworth will write. No casting news as of yet.
