   Interesting. It won’t be hard to make something better than the original, though.

   Now if we could just get someone to take the Conan series again.

   Although I like the idea of a new Red Sonja movie I gag at the thought that Rose McGowan being Sonja. Way to go Rodriguez, you sold out to your woman…just like with Milla Jovovich and her husband putting her in all his movies…It’s on the level with high school movies where you put in your friends instead of going to find a more appropriate actress.

   Sigh – It just worries me. Movies where the director puts his girlfriend into his movie for brownee points just always seem to fall short of what they could’ve been, and I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope Rodriguez doesn’t try some stupid Planet Terror/ Sin City-ish crap – i.e. ridulously oversized weapons, zany stunts like being blow over a wall by explosive on purpose etc. Hopefully he keeps it old “Conan the Barbarian”-esque, just updated graphics and blood.

   Now Rose has got good facial scructure, strong chin and pretty eyes (EXCEPT THEY AREN’T GREEN!!!! Sonja’s are GREEN – cgi that i guess). My main problem with it is her body type. Rose doesn’t have that tall, athletic, muscularly sexy curvy body – Red Sonja is like 5’11″ 36D-25-36 and built, whereas Rose McGowan is 5’5″ 36C-26-36 (approx) and on the thin side with a kinda saggy ass – I’ll suffice for the breast size and maybe if you dye her hair a deep scarlett red and get her in the gym to build some muscle shape she’d probably look good…but she’d still be too short
