Now, before you get all excited, take note that the Monty Python guys – John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin – will be lending their voices to the movie, which is a mixture of computer animation and live action. Terry Jones will be directing the film. The movie is about aliens who give a human the power to do absolutely anything. The aliens did this not out of benevolence but as some sort of prank to see how the human will make a mess of things with his new powers. There is talk that Robin Williams will also be included in the movie, voicing a talking dog who actually knows more about what is happening.

If you’re a hard core Monty Python fan then you’d have noticed two names that are missing from the article – Graham Chapman died in the 80s and Eric Idle hasn’t officially signed on yet to do the movie.

Terry Jones is warning fans though that Absolutely Anything is not a Monty Python movie, though he said that it will have some of the sensibilities of the legendary comedy troupe. It may not be the actual Monty Python reunion that everyone is hoping for but this is the closest we’ll get to one and for that we should all be excited.

Evans is currently in negotiations for a role in Snow Piercer, a movie that will be directed by The Host director Bong Joon-ho. For those of you who still don’t know about The Host, it’s a Korean monster movie that redefines the “monster on the loose” genre. Think Godzilla, only with humor, drama and action all spliced together.

Snow Piercer is about a group of travelers trapped inside a train amidst a hostile environment of snow and ice. The travelers try their best to survive amidst this obvious challenge. But things start to deteriorate in the train as well as they start turning on one another.

To give more weight to Snow Piercer, the script was written by Bong Joon-ho with another one of Korea’s best directors, Park Chan-Wook, who is most known in the US as the director of Old Boy.

Filming for Snow Piercer is set to begin this March in Prague.

There’s no word on what exactly Evans will be playing if he locks in a deal, but if he does sign on, he’ll report to the Prague set in March to start shooting.

But with nary a sign of the Red Sonja project moving there are doubts that it will push through. Recently, Rose McGowan was announced to have snagged a role in the Conan remake and she won’t be playing Red Sonja in this movie. She will reportedly play the role of a witch.

Now there are rumors that the Red Sonja role and movie is being offered to Megan Fox. I think she is a worthy choice for the role. She definitely has the femme fatale looks that is needed to give justice to Red Sonja. All she needs to do is to put on some muscles and a little weight and she’s all set to go.

Hopefully, this project pushes through. I know that millions of men will be waiting for Fox to don the Red Sonja outfit.

In addition to McGowan, Aarniokoski is apparently off the project as well and they are looking for another writer to take a pass at David N. White’s script.

Pajiba says that an offer has now been made to “Transformers” star Megan Fox to play the mythical flame-haired comic-book vixen with a sword. Will she take the role? We’ll have to wait and see.

Keitel will be joining other new additions to the cast Jessica Alba and Laura Dern. Franchise regulars Ben Stiller, Teri Polo , Robert de Niro, Blythe Danner and Owen Wilson will be returning to reprise their roles.

Paul Weitz will be directing the movie.

Chris Pine is reportedly in talks with Paramount Pictures to play Jack Ryan, the popular CIA analyst character in Tom Clancy’s novels.

A script is currently being written for the planned reboot. Although the movie’s title wasn’t revealed yet, I’m guessing they’ll restart the franchise with the first novel, The Hunt for Red October.

If Pine accepts, he will be the fourth actor to assume the role of Ryan. Alec Baldwin starred in The Hunt for Red October. Then Harrison Ford assumed the role when Baldwin decided to do The Shadow instead of Patriot Games. The last actor to play Ryan was Ben Affleck.
