Supposedly (key word), Sylvester Stallone is being considered to star as the lead hero in “Predator 3″, which is intended to take place after the events of “Alien vs. Predator 2″.

The online rumor mill was abuzz this morning with word that Sylvester Stallone might be in the running to star in 20th Century Fox’s long-planned Predator 3, taking over from his Planet Hollywood partner Arnold Schwarzeneggar, who starred in the first installment.

I think Stallone has enough on his plate, with Rocky 6 and Rambo 4 on the way. I’d watch Predator 3, regardless of who stars in it, but it would be nice if it didn’t follow-up to Alien vs. Predator in any way, shape or form. That movie was celluloid Down’s Syndrome.
