According to Rotten Tomatoes, series star Brendan Fraser has signed on to appear in The Mummy 3. Supposedly, the script will be a “reimagining” of the first two films, whatever that means. His love interest in the previous films, played by Rachel Weisz, reports she has not yet been approached to appear in the film, while series villain, Oded Fehr, has not been questioned yet.
