Well, the winner has finally been chosen & it looks like Vermont is the champion.
The quaint town of Springfield, Vermont has been chosen to be the host of The Simpsons Movie premiere, after they beat out 14 other Springfields to land the honor as host.
The small Vermont town boasts a population of 9,300 & will be calling themselves hosts to celebs alike on July 21.
Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce member Patricia Chaffee stated, “We’re so excited. We came in at the last minute, and for us to win, we feel like the underdogs, which makes this so big and so great for us.”
Congrats for the happy little town.
