I think was a good film, it was no where near as frightening or horrific as my girlfriend made out but im still very confused to a few things about the movie. Im not a film crtitic im just an 18 yearold guy from scotland. Im still confused though as to why he couldnt leave the room physically, as it was a mentally induced film. Good film, but as to that and ” the family man “. Its the only films i dont understand :S

under no circumstances watch this film. I have never posted on a forum of any kind in my life, until now. My feelings are so strong that no one should pay any amount of money to waste an hour and a half of their life to watch such poorly produced, story lacking, uninspired dross that i am now making a lifetime first. Really, i enjoy testing others opinions by watching films that have received less than favorable reviews, but in this case i wish i had listened to Samuel L Jackson and not entered the room. DON’T DO IT. STEP AWAY FROM THE DVD PLAYER. GO FOR A WALK.

No way.. very disappointed with this movie. An effort, which starts so well, goes in vein in the last 1 hour. You will love it till the time Krusack enters the room and then the first 10min in the room. Then after you feel like something is coming now..now..ok now… okkay now…..okhayyyy noww….. but nothing spine chilly happens.After the movie all u remember is Krusack’s performance. He has raised beyond the worthless script. On a scale of 10 full 5 to Krusack and 1 of 5 to the chill/thrills. Hence overall rating 6. If u wanna enjoy your weeked night…get a DVD of House on Haunted Hills again.
