In an effort to develop a film industry in a Gulf Arab nation, Abu Dhabi will be launching its first film festival this month.
From October 14 – 19th, the Middle East International Film Festival will feature home-grown talent as well as emerging films.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see the photos….

October 10th, 2007 at 5:14 pmA couple of corrections – First off, Abu Dhabi is not a Gulf Arab “Nation”, if what you’re trying to imply that it’s a country. It’s one of seven emirates that comprise the country called United Arab Emirates. Second, the above picture is of Dubai – which is another emirate in the UAE, and not of Abu Dhabi.
