Great perspective of the Movie , i would have to agree with you on some key points you have made about Australia. Some times i wonder about Nicole Kid man’s real impact within the movie industry, she probably would have been a shoe in for the 30-late fifty era of movie making.

Like the title! I still haven’t seen “Australia” and reviews like this one play a serious part in that. I too have a soft spot for sweeping epic films and also enjoyed “Legends…” to an extent (don’t tell anyone). Hopefully I take a kinder view on this film but indicators point in the opposite direction. I’ll have to see it at some point, nevertheless. That, I feel,is the biggest drawback of blogging about cinema – the crap you have to watch for the good of others.
