Yep, that’s right.  Comedian, and we’ll use that term loosely here, Sarah Silverman has been lined up to host the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.

The profanity-ridden Silverman will be following in the footsteps of Justin Timberlake, Lindsay Lohan & Jack Black as the master(ess) of ceremonies for the annual awards show.

Shortly after the announcement, Sarah stated that MTV was paying her in Jewish cracker.

“I’m of the Jewish culture,” Silverman explained.

“They’re actually paying me with a million dollars’ worth of matzo — the resale value is somewhere around two grand.”

This one should be interesting…
