John Carpenter was right about changing the format, which was tired. I loved the third installment and think it's the best after the original. Let's face it the enitre series has become nothing more than a cash cow. The reason there's so many sequels is becuase the studios know are cheap to make, and will make a fortune in return, plus the audience will accept mediocrity at every level. Halloween III was the last film of the series to have any originality, and it should've ended there. It's not the Harry Potter series that's for sure!
