I just saw Pumpkinhead "Ashes to Ashes" and I do agree with everyone about the CGI creature, however I have a working knowledge these low budget pictures and I think this movie was the victim of it's producers rather than the team that created the creature. On closer viewing there is some spectacular digital work here. For instance, Bunt on the roof with Tiny had to be created later than the shoot. There is no way you could have got all of those elemnts to together for a night shoot on a roof in the rain with na harnesses!!! Yet that is exactly how it comes across. I say hats off to whoever put that sequence together. I fact The incinerator sequence works just as well as does the church colapse. Forgive my honesty here but I think they seemed to have used early stage animation and rendering on the creature. I don't thinkanyone who was reponsible for this work would have let it go out unless under pressure from the procured either due to money or time or both!!!

I found the movie enjoyable until the church scene, when the CGI Pumpkinhead made its longest on-screen appearance. It was so horrible that it completely pulled me out of the movie. Poor Pumpkinhead, he deserves better.
