The “Saw franchise” didn’t gradually decrease with each new one. It dropped. Saw 3 had a horrible plot. They went for gore over story…get the hint?

Saw IV was so bad, it wasn’t even funny.
Added so many ridiculous characters, and just expecting the audience to “sympathise” with them, trying to be “clever” by making this character that they never introduced before as “evil” in some stupid attempt to be clever.

And the traps? They weren’t thought through, they weren’t clever, metaphorical or even remotely relevant.

And what’s the challenge for the guy that I forgot the name of all too quickly? He has to “forgive” people? What? It’s just SAW III with an even thinner plot, and such a half arsed attempt at a “twist” at the end, it left me feeling disappointed and bitter.

I really hope they don’t continue this franchise, it’s getting more and more disappointing.

Saw was horrible, my GF walked out of the cinema only 15 minutes into the movie and was shaking in terror.

Such a waste of money

Incredible, much better than Saw III and even better than Saw II, but I agree with you: The ending is incredible and unsuspected, but confusing. Still I loved it and I’m going to watch it again and again until I fully understand this twisted ending.

I definitely liked your review of this film, and enjoyed the film too. Better than III that’s for sure.
