No joke, he really fends off a horde of goblins with a bologna sandwich. If you told me that before I saw the movie I would have thought you were kidding.

Well, at least someone else out there has suffered through this. I had a Beta cassette of the movie for years. I dunno where it came from. Maybe I was bad one year and Santa gave it to me for Christmas.

I DID buy that double feature DVD you're talking about, and I actually bought it for Troll 2 above Troll 1. You're right, Troll 1 is rather watchable.

[...] Screamers is a fun time-waster; a popcorn flick from start to finish. An okay rental or definitely something to watch when it’s on TV. I wouldn’t buy the thing, though. And *I* own a copy of Troll 2. Screamers gets a C. October 19, 2006 Posted by DrSpengler as Reviews, Action, Sci-Fi/Fantasy at 11:33 am [...]

[...] Who remembers the “killer little animal” fad that Gremlins started in the 80’s? I sure do. Thanks to that fad we got the likes of Troll, Ghoulies, Munchies and, possibly the most successful knock-off of them all, Critters. [...]

Haha, there is at least one upside to this. Troll was a decent flick, and Troll/Troll 2 is a double feature disc, so you could consider that you arent really buying Troll 2, per se, you bought Troll and the sequel came with it.

And yes, I do own it. : /
