Four Must See Horror Films For The End Of 2015
2015 has been a pretty good year for horror films. The remake of Poltergeist was great, and there are plenty of sequels for those that love franchises, like Paranormal Activity. While some people may be excited for Sinister 2 or Insidious 3, there are plenty of new stories to be told.
The Halloween season is here in the stores, and in the crisp air, so it is definitely time to check out some great scary movies and get in the mood for witches and werewolves, and other things that go bump in the night. Lily Collins leaves Evil Dead Remake
The current Evil Dead remake project has hit a snag. Star Lily Collins has reportedly dropped out of the movie.
The actress’ camp is citing scheduling conflicts as the main reason for her decision to let go of the project. This is a big blow to the remake of the Sam Raimi-directed horror classic. The remake also has Raimi behind it so it’s also a sought after project in Hollywood because of its pedigree. [Read more…]
European Horror Films You Should Check Out
Halloween is just around the corner and you’re probably already preparing for your Halloween parties. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and ever since I was in college, I’ve made it a point to have a horror movie marathon on October 31. In fact, it has become somewhat of a tradition in my home that my old friends eagerly anticipate our annual horror movie fest.
One reason why my friends love the horror movie marathons I host is the diversity I provide them. They’re sure to watch a movie they haven’t seen before and not the tired old Hollywood horror movies that everyone knows about.
