According to Superhero Hype, Frank Miller (author of Sin City and the Dark Knight Returns) will be penning the script for “The Spirit”. The Spirit was one of Will Eisner’s best known comic book characters, dating back all the way to the early 1940’s. A dark detective much along the likes of Batman, Frank Miller seems to perfect choice to writer the script treatment. Miller has stated that he intends to be very faithful to the source material but intends to give ti a darker edge.
