This just in, Julia Roberts has recently signed on to produce & more than likely star in Happiness Sold Separately. The in-works movie is based on the best-selling Lolly Winston romantic novel that surrounds a woman who withdraws from her life after finding out that her husband had an affair with his nutritionist at the gym.
The project is set to be directed by Scott Coffey, who is very pleased to have Roberts on board. “I’ve been looking for something to do with Julia for a really long time, and I finally found the project that was worthy of her,” Coffey stated.
“I couldn’t get Julia out of my head when I was reading Lolly’s book. Elinor is such a strong, complicated woman, and bringing her to the screen required Julia’s integrity, empathy, humor and legs.”
Julia is currently working on Charlie Wilson’s War with co-stars Tom Hanks, Phillip Seymour Hoffman & Amy Adams. Roberts is also the the title voice Charlotte’s Web, hitting theatres Friday.
