For this weekend of Friday, December 8, you had better hold on to your hat. It’s a big movie release weekend, so be prepared to spend some cash, or do like I do & go from movie to movie.
- Apocalypto: directed by none other than Jew-hater Mel Gibson; starring Rudy Youngblood. Early reports indicate that you should wait until the DVD release, if even that.
- Blood Diamond: directed by Edward Zwick; starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Djimon Hounsou & hottie Jennifer Connelly. I think this one’s a keeper, I want a detailed report Monday from you though.
- The Holiday: directed by Nancy Meyers; starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law & Jack Black. With this many stars how can you go wrong, right? I’m still a little skeptical, it’s one of those lovable, yet very cheesy holiday films. You tell me.
- Unaccompanied Minors: directed by Paul Feig.; starring Lewis Black & Wilmer Valderrama. I would have never out those two together in a million years, but I can go with it. Looks interesting.
Make sure to save some of that cash for Friday, December 15 releases of The Pursuit of Happyness & Eragon.
