Gentleman, mark your calendars.  If she asks, you’re busy that day.   Which day am I talking about is irrelevant, just trust me.

I am simply trying to help you avoid the long-distance romcom Going the Distance, starring Drew Barrymore and “I’m a Mac” Justin Long.

Geez, they’re even holding the eye candy out in this one!

Sex and the City Trailer Falls Flat, No?

I’ve always thought that producing movie trailers has to be one of the best jobs in the world.  You get to sum up an hour in one minute, including every action-packed shred of excitement and tear-jerking drama.  It’s not only a creative gig, but one that implicitly impacts box office success.

One of the tell-tale signs of a crappy movie is when the trailer is flat.  And one of the dullest trailers I’ve seen in a long time is for Sex and the City 2.  And the ladies I’ve quizzed agree. [Read more…]
